Beautiful Hashgacha Pratis.
(I spent my Birthday, Shabbos in Crown Heights)I walked into a shul some friends Daven at on Shabbos morning at the exact minute they were announcing about a Shaar Habitachon daily quick zoom class.
Two minutes earlier or later, and it wouldn’t have happened for me.

(Truthfully, stopping in wasn’t even on my agenda that day. But Hashem places us exactly where we need to be.)

Yesterday morning, I woke up early with one “thing” to take care of in Crown Heights before heading to the Ohel, then back home.
But in the moment, I got nervous. Lost my edge.
Decided to push it off for next time I’m in town.
After the Ohel, with fresh energy, I decided to give it another shot and went back to CH.
The timing didn’t work out again, but I figured I’d grab some Noribar for the road. Quick online order, just one minute in and out.
I get to the counter. The guy’s schmoozing with his friend on the bench, and I “had to” say something, it just felt right in the moment.
I turn to the bench guy to comment, and right there behind him, leaning against the wall, is the big white-and-blue Shaar Habitachon book.
Perfect. Now I knew what I was looking for.
I walked down to Hamafitz and picked up a copy.
Ready to rumble!

(Crumbs. My thing wasn't My "thing". It was to learn about His thing. Him.
